Harold and Olga came to us under very upsetting circumstances. They were found left behind in an apartment unit after the tenant(s) moved out. Animal Welfare removed 3 other cats from the same unit, while another abandoned unit in the building was also discovered to have left behind 9 cats- 7 of which were deceased and 2 still alive. This situation is disgusting and horrifying, to say the least, and we are so glad to have Harold and Olga (and Thomas) now safe in our care.
Although we are not sure of the specific circumstances in which they were left, despite everything- they are SO full of love. They are both very affectionate, Harold being the biggest suck. They love to lounge on the couch, with humans and each other. They are learning to play with toys, and seem to enjoy cat nip. These two are very bonded, which makes total sense after all they have endured. We are so excited to find these two a home where they will never be left behind ever again. They have SO much love to give!!
More about these two below!

Harold and Olga!

Affection level: Very affectionate! They want ALL the love, especially Harold
Energy level: Pretty laid back and chill. Relaxed but will have spurts of energy when engaging in playtime
Likes: Pets, head and chin scratches, wet food, dry food, treats of any kind. Very food motivated. Cat nip.
Dislikes:
Around children: Unsure but they are very laid back so would likely do okay with kids. Definitely ok with older kids
Around other pets: Unsure around dogs. Would be fine around other friendly cats
Ideal Home Life: A home that can give them lots of love and sense of security after all the trauma and stress they have been through. They would likely be fine in either a busier or quieter home as they are quite laid back kitties

Health and Medical

Harold and Olga have no medical issues that we are aware of and have no apparent dietary restrictions. They enjoy a well balanced diet. They are up-to-date on Rabies and FVRCP vaccines and are FIV/FeLV negative. They have been treated for fleas, ear mites and worms.
