FOSTER WITH US
Friends and Ferals is solely a volunteer based rescue. We do not have a shelter location, therefor we are ALWAYS in need of foster homes for the cats and kittens in our care.
Below are some of the requirements to become a temporary or permanent foster with us
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have access to regular transportation (a valid drivers license is necessary should an emergency arise)
- Must complete the foster application form
- Must be able to bring foster cat(s)/kitten(s) to veterinary appointments (arrangements will be made to accommodate fosters/rescue’s schedule)
- Must be able to provide a separate foster space (spare bedroom, office, bathroom etc).
- Must be able to keep foster cats separate from other pets in the house (personal pets).
- Must be willing to spend quality time with foster cats as well as spending time socializing kittens if required
- Must be comfortable with helping facilitate final adoption process (details to be provided)
