Our Team

Brogan

Brogan is the one running the show at Friends and Ferals. A self proclaimed crazy cat lady since birth, she knew the minute she started the rescue that this was her calling.

If you send us a message, email, or comment on our social media, Brogan is the one behind all the replies and posts.

When she isn’t busy feeding ferals, scooping litter, answering messages, or running around like a crazy person, you can find her working full time as a VA at Veterinary clinic. Cats really ARE her life!

Jeff

Jeff is the man behind the scenes. Fiancé to Brogan and guilty by association, Jeff is usually the one doing the “heavy lifting” so to speak. He’s the one lugging cat carriers in and out of the shed and vehicles. He’s the one hauling the 100lb boxes of cat litter and bags of cat food inside. He’s the one holding onto the live trap for dear life when there’s a big ol’ feral tom cat thrashing around inside. He’s the night owl alerting us that there’s a cat in our traps at the house. Jeff is the good man with a love for cats that follows our lead and sometimes unfortunately for him, is just along for our crazy ride!!

Hannah B

Hannah is one our amazing fosters and an absolute asset to our team. She has fostered many cats and kittens for us, and has experience caring for neonatal kittens. She helps us coordinate and facilitate adoptions as well as running her own social media page for her foster kitties. Hannah has such a huge heart and periodically also fosters for a few other rescues. We are so grateful to have her be a part of the Friends and Ferals team. If you have Instagram, please give her page a follow @kittenfosterfamily2021 !

Jacquie

Jacquie was one of the first to join our foster family, taking in our second ever litter of kittens. These babies were left in a box on the front step of our local vet clinic and they were an absolute mess. Immediately she stepped up to fosters these sickly little babes and with time, she got them healthy and adopted. From spoon feeding to bathing. From giving medications and countless vet trips, Jacquie has been through the many ups and the downs with us and our kittens. She is always there to offer us help in any way she can, and we are so thankful to her for that.

Paula

Paula is not only one of our amazing fosters, but also our “feral cat holding space feeder”. When we have feral cats healing up from their spays/neuters, Paula takes care of feeding them, cleaning up their “messes” and ensuring they stay safe and confined until they are ready to be released. Her and her husband have taken in a number of ferals and friendlies for us, foster failing a few along the way. Anything we need, Paula is always there to offer a helping hand.

Michelle

Michelle is an experienced foster who over the years has worked with a few other cat rescues. She has helped us with several feral, friendly, and somewhere- in -between- kitties, and continues to offer us support through fostering, fundraising and spreading the word. She also helps us greatly with transportation; picking up kitties from us, taking them to and from vet appointments and so much more. Michelle has experience with neonatal kittens as well, which just adds to her set list of skills!
